B2a1 The Russian (European) dilemma


If the fate of Britain after 1945 was once synonymous with the political future of Europe, then after 2026 the fate of Russia will be more reflective of the direction of development in Europe. At least for the next 50 years, the confusion and uncertainty experienced by Russia will be a window into the political future of the whole of Europe. Russia is not the only country looking for its own national direction; the whole of Europe is in fact at a crossroads of choices. Russia is already feeling the pain of this reality. In contrast, other European countries are still deceiving themselves. This is the main difference between Russia and the rest of the continent today.
